Unspoken Signals
UK🇬🇧 | B2B Communication Consulting
We met Freddie through one of those things we like to call life coincidences.
At the time, he was developing his business and communication strategy together with Timi. They had reached a turning point: the idea was clear, the service was taking shape, but something was missing. The project needed a brand that could truly represent what they were building.
We met Timi at a networking event, started talking, and somehow the conversation turned into a project. One of those moments where things just… click.
And we’re very glad it did

Unspoken Signals is not your typical consulting company. Freddie develops communication programs for organisations that are struggling with internal communication; the kind of situations where messages get lost, misunderstood, or never really reach the people they’re meant for.
What makes Freddie particularly unique is the way he sees communication. As someone who describes himself as a deeply empathetic person, he has a very precise sensitivity for the small signals people usually miss. The subtle gaps in conversations. The moments where communication breaks.
And that perspective is exactly what makes his work so powerful.
The creative territory we developed revolved around the idea of a communication X-ray
If Freddie’s work reveals the invisible problems inside communication, the brand needed to visually express that same process: seeing what’s normally hidden.
We designed a system that represents the flow of communication, the moment where that flow breaks, and the point where the “unspoken” signals finally become understood.
When that happens, communication moves again. And the message finally reaches its destination.
The final dot becomes the moment where everything clicks.
Because communication flow was the central idea, the brand symbol became an important piece of the system.
The symbol represents a line of communication that initially breaks, a visual interruption in the signal. In its animated version, the break slowly resolves, allowing the message to continue flowing until it reaches its final point.
It’s a small visual metaphor for the exact transformation Freddie helps companies achieve.
As the project evolved, we also had the opportunity to design the Unspoken Signals website, extending the identity into a digital experience.
You can explore the brand and Freddie’s work here: unspokensignals.com.
And finally, we couldn’t talk about this project without mentioning Freddie himself.
Working with him was genuinely inspiring. His passion for communication, and for helping people understand each other better, is something that runs through everything he does.
In the end, the brand feels very much like him: thoughtful, precise, and deeply human.
Exactly what proper communication should be.
